142.
I had an {almost} spiritual experience the other day on Market street.
And it involved crème brûlée.
{Yes yes you heard me right}
I have been borderline obsessed with The Crème Brûlée Cart in San Francisco since I moved here a year and a half ago. Just ask the boyfriend. I follow the CBC’s twitter account religiously, and have had many close encounters… but it always seems like RIGHT when I’m going to run the 6 blocks to his nearest location, he tweets “All sold out!”
This is pretty much the story of my life.
But then, an amazing thing happened. A tweet from The Crème Brûlée Cart popped up on Wednesday, that said: “Market at Sutter. 11:30-2.”
I just about passed out. Literally. Across. The. Street.
An hour and $4 later, I was clutching my holy grail of lavender crème brûlée with freezing fingers.
Let me just say, the wait was totally worth it. {I may be even more obsessed}
(The boyfriend got Ritual Coffee flavor, which was also delicious. But I am partial to flower/herb flavored things)
Please, if you are in San Francisco, do yourself a favor and seek out this guy.
{Plus, how cute is his cart? And his chef’s hat? It’s totally inspiring me to pursue my breakfast food cart idea}
